Information Security Survey on Education Sector in Hong Kong

jointly organized a survey project on the information security of schools in Hong Kong in June 2002.

The survey report was published in Jan 2003. This was the first published information security survey report of schools in Hong Kong.

Objectives	To study the status of information security in schools of Hong Kong To study additional IT facilities (beyond those defined by Education Department) that were installed in schools To survey the problems of schools in managing information security To propose possible solutions to improve the situations
Survey period	June 2002
Targets	1,200 Primary, Seconday, Special and International schools in Hong Kong
Response	181 questionnaires (15.1%)
