Telecommunication frauds is one of the biggest causes of revenue loss for service providers. The problem is getting more sophisticated to tackle especially with the availability of new services like 3G and VoIP.

With VoIP, voice traffic is carried over a packet-switched data network via Internet Protocol. VoIP security has to be handled in the overall context of data security. VoIP infrastructure and security issues are becoming new challenges to the I.T. industry.
