Phishing is a new crime to Hong Kong. Scam emails are luring recipients to visit fake web sites for different malicious purposes. Phishermen are developing more sophistated attacks using newer technologies and tricks. The trust established in online transaction is challenged. The government, regulatory bodies and industry groups are collaborating to hunt down these attacks.

In this workshop, we try to analyze the technologies and security flaws that Phishermen are utilizing today and perhaps tomorrow. We also try to provide product neutral advice to the possible defense strategies. With more understanding of the problem, we hope that everyone can better equip oneself to combat the attack.

The Phishing Exposed seminar is presented by PISA professionals.
