  • Mr. Chester Soong, Director of Certification Services, Asia Pacific, (ISC)2
    Chester Soong is is the first CISSP in Hong Kong and now looking after the development of CISSP/SSCP certifications in the Asia Pacific region.

    Mr. Soong is the Managing Director of Global Information Networks Limited that he found in 1995. He is responsible for the development and management of the company, and provides security consultancy services. He is also a lecturer on Internet security for City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Management Association, and International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2.

    Mr. Soong is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Internet Service Provider Association, Council member to Hong Kong Information Technology Federation and member of the Board of Advisors of Honorary Mr. Sin Chung Kai Legislative Councilor.

    Mr. Soong actively serves several public committees, e.g. the Steering Committee of Hong Kong CERT, the Telecom & Multimedia Advisory Committee of Trade Development Council, HKSAR and the WebTrust SM/TM Sub-Committee of Hong Kong Society of Accountants. He is a frequent speaker of seminars and conferences in the subject of e-Commerce and Internet security.

    Mr. Soong has been the Hon. Advisor of the Professional Information Security Association since it was founded.

  • Ms. Susanna Chiu, President of ISACA (HK Chapter)
    Upon qualifying as a CISA, Susanna has involved in ISACA (HK Chapter) since 1996 initially as CISA Coordinator, later as Treasurer, followed by Vice President, and is currently the President of the Chapter.

    Susanna has over 17 years of professional experience. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant of England and Wales, and a full-time computer audit specialist in the UK since 1987. She has specific experience in using computer assisted audit techniques and reviewing general controls and internal control procedures particularly in the mainframe and mini environment. Among her many achievements, Susanna has conducted a review of the computerized financial system of the European Space Agency in Paris, Germany and Holland, was involved in establishing a Chinese Satellite Broadcasting Station for Western Europe, and project managed a large scale information system project in China for a multinational corporation.

    Susanna holds a MBA degree and is currently working as Chief Operating Officer of a public listed media technology company in Hong Kong covering operations in Mainland China.
