Dr Goh Moh Heng is the Executive Director for Disaster Recovery Institute Asia, the Asian affiliate for Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII). In 1997, Moh Heng was responsible in bringing the DRII's Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) professional certification to Asia. Currently, Moh Heng is serving as an elected Certification Board Member with the DRI International, US.
Dr Goh Moh Heng is also the Director of Hibis Consulting Singapore Pte Ltd. His primary areas of expertise include business continuity management, disaster recovery planning, contingency planning and crisis management.
Prior to DRI Asia and Hibis Consulting , Moh Heng held a senior position with the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), responsible for all forms of business continuity and contingency planning. He also held senior positions with Standard Chartered Bank, responsible for its global implementation of business continuity management and planning, and Price Waterhouse where he was responsible for the business continuity practice.
Professionally, Moh Heng is the founder and President of the Business Continuity Group, a Technology Industry Chapter of the Singapore Computer Society, based in Singapore from 1996-1999.
Moh Heng holds a doctorate from the University of South Australia, his thesis exploring the development of action learning as a contributing tool for business continuity. He is currently an Adjunct Visiting Fellow to the Graduate College of Management, Southern Cross University, Australia. Moh Heng also holds a Master of Business in Information Technology, a BSc in Computer Science and is a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA). He is a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute (FBCI), UK and a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), US. He presents regularly on business continuity at technical and business forums globally.
Dr. Goh is in occasional trip in Hong Kong and we just got the luck to catch him to present such seminar.
