As a professional, we might be invited to give evidence in the court because of our unique expertise. The court case do not even involve us in any sense. This is expert evidence.

What is the value of expert witness and what weight is given to their evidence? How can an expert communicate with the judge and the jury? What challenge can an expert face when being cross-examined by the counsels?

How can we be a good expert withness? Is their any qualification? Would a CISSP/CISA be a better expert witness than an experienced IT security guy who has not got any certification?

The speaker as a practising counsel and an active player in the information security area. He will share his view with PISA members.
